A word a month – Dendrophilia

dendrofilia

From the dictionary of unusual sex:

Dendrophilia – A >fetishism for plants, especially trees. As in having sex with an oak, or getting turned on by groping the ficus Benjamin in the living room. As unusual as this passion can be, it has deep roots (ahem…) in our collective unconscious: any anthropologists can confirm how widespread across ancient cultures were rituals culminating in the ejaculation on totem-plants. Now that times have changed, the only recommendation is to avoid having relationships with cactuses.

(the symbol “>” indicates a cross-reference to another entry in the dictionary)

This was one of the over 1.500 entries from Ayzad’s book XXX – Il dizionario del sesso insolito, which unfortunately is not available in English yet. If you can read Italian, you can buy it here.
